I didn't do maths as an A level. The only STEM degree that was available to me was Biology which would've been fucking useless. I got accepted into great unis but for things like History, Biology, English, etc etc. The only noteworthy thing you can do with those degrees is become a high school teacher or work in a lab that pays the same wages as a warehouse worker in this country so I said fuck it and didn't even go to any interviews

Never gave a shit about a degree. Was all so that had an excuse to stay longer with my parents in my early twenties (the university isnt far away and not that expensive). I intentionally studied a few semesters longer because of this. But there is nothing to brag about because its a useless paper, it was all for nothing and I forgot everything that I learned.

Yes same. In the first semester I tried to connect with a group people but failed. So for the next years I was always completely alone. Seeing all the couples and friend groups there definitely damaged me. Sorry to hear about that. I hope you can find at least one friend.

i was in the last semester of a chemical engineering degree when i dropped out. that was 10 years ago. i dropped out due to mental health reasons, but i'm so much better now than i was then, so there's no excuse not to go back to finish it anymore.
