I think commonality and shared experience play a significant part in the kind of reactions you'll get. If you post something personal and others find it relatable they'll be more motivated to respond enthusiastically and put more effort in responding accordingly.

@anon1822fourthacc used to post very intriguing life experience threads that I Found easily relatable, and understandable.
