It gets super tiresome.

Plus people in these clubs usually still just have normie tastes + I feel out of place or it just feels forced

I used to volunteer as a gallery sitter and workshop host. It's a good way to talk to grannies and quirky art hoes (who attend these events or are fellow volunteers). Never found any occasion to talk to them again though.
