there is a huge difference between "average" and "median" income, average never gives the real picture since a small number of super-high-earners can drastically change the average income of an entire population, a more faithful way would be a median income, anyway, that's not the point here, the bottom line is $75k/yr is not even close to be considered as rich in 2024, regardless of which state you are in the US32% higher than the median income is only "slightly"???
