Basically its when you find out the dark parts of yourself that the ego tries to hide.

I want to find these parts of myself so I can pinpoint the side of me I try to ignore.

This is a good idea but be careful to do it gradually. When you find a lot all at once it feels so daunting you'll just end up hating yourself more
