I dont think its hard to find this place if you are trying to find a place where you can talk to other neets.

From all the people i know, there is only one other person thats a NEET.
The rest are all in uni, work etc.
It still seems like the japanese are still heavily dominating the neet/hiki ligestyle.
It hasn't fully reached the west yet.

Because from the little research I did the overall cost of living and the consumer prices in Japan are really expensive. And although they have a social welfare system it seems to be very strict.
