Arrangement in Grey and Black No. 1 (aka "Whistler's Mother")
Artist: James McNeill Whistler
Medium: Oil painted on canvas
Year: 1871
Later in 1997 the famous art expert "Dr. Bean" created an incredible interpretation of the painting. Bean who works at the National Gallery in London said the following about his work: "...this picture is worth such a lot of money because... it's a picture... of Whistler's mother. It's a picture of a mad old cow who he thought the world of. And that's marvellous. That's what I think."
