As the title says, my mom told one of her annoying sisters who has some meme bachelors in psych about my life and that annoying bitch had been telling my mom how much I need help. Baiscially, I've been appointed a psychiatrist already and now the next step is a therapist. Last time around, I was diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety but stopped seeing them when we moved countires.
Basically, my already shitty life continues to get worse by the day.

remember that there are many types of counseling and therapy. Do some research if u can or ask the therapist.

In what way? What did you tell them about?
I told him how much my crappy parents abused me and how emotionally numb I’ve become. Then it became months of doing breathing exercises and identifying triggers. Eventually he just said fuck it and told me to find someone that works with PTSD. Yeah fuck you too faggot.

I knew a guy from Discord who started telling his female therapist about blackpill oriented suff and she called the police on him because she suspected that he frequented the manosphere. Gotta be careful with these female hipsters

This is why I bail if I get scheduled with a female doctor of any kind. Foids are devoid of any kind of empathy and just want to twerk on Tiktok for likes.

That's brutal. I just imagine some poor dude going into an office, his porn-addled brain probably playing tricks on him and making him believe that a female therapist could comfort him by letting him suck on her big, mommy-like tiddies and the bitch just calls the cops on him. Was she trying to blackpill him all the way?

Sorry but what your mom did there was very cruel.
If I had a child which was in that position I would protect it the right way and keep my damn mouth shut to other people.

Cognitive behavioral therapy works but it's one of those things you don't need a therapist to help you with. Reframing your thoughts and beliefs towards reality is not hard when you see your thoughts for what they are, suggestions, not facts of life. You could unironically pick up a book on cognitive behavioral therapy, read it and then go meditate for 5 mins and get all of the bennies without having to pay someone. I think a lot of the benefits derive from the distance you make between a thought.

Normally
Negative thoughts appear -> you accept thoughts as true without much thought -> more of those thoughts appear -> maybe you even fuel it with music and other negative copes -> more negative thoughts appear -> blah blah (negative feedback loop)

After meditating/CBT
Negative thoughts appear -> you decide to ignore them or reframe them -> less of those thoughts appear -> you fuel different thoughts with positive copes -> positive thoughts appear -> you feel better so you decide to do more things that make you happy -> blah blah (positive feedback loop)

I've never went to therapy but that's basically the tl;dr of everything they're going to try to teach you. The idea that you can end negative feedback loops whenever and start up positive feedback loops. If you can harness the power of positive feedback loops, life becomes better in a sort of down to earth realistic way. You laugh more often, you have more energy, you enjoy life. Another thing to think about is that your prefrontal cortex (that regulates emotions) isn't fully developed until you're 25, so your emotions and grasp on life will get better as you get older in general. Though you can still get trapped in negative feedback loops no matter the age.

Sounds like something that would only help normies with mild anxiety not a KHV 29yo truecel. The only loop I will be entering is one made by a rope
