do low intensity cardio for 30 mins every day, like walking
if you take stimulants, or if you smoke, quit them

if these don't work, go to a doctor and start taking antihypertensives

get your thyroid checked, I mean the TSH T3 and T4

you might have a mild insufficiency then, maybe subclinical hypothyroidism, it's quite common actually, a lot of people have it and they're not aware of it
you might not recieve any treatment if your levels high enough, in that case some lifestyle changes might help, like better sleep schedule, exercise etc

He's at stage 1 and refuses to take any treatment, maybe it won't be as effective since his case is not as severe but it's worth a try
