ive had a legitimate religious experience over the past 6 months

-do only bench press/deadlift/squat for 6+ years
-what is the worst that can happen
-plateau
-start working on other exercises and doing light cardio
-all my muscles start freaking out and correcting all the muscle imbalances by themselves
-feel tightness at some point in every part of my body
-have to spend literally all day heating parts of my body up with a rice sock
-good news is I think ive almost completed filling in all the muscle groups that were lacking

its been fucking awful, best way I can describe it is this statue:

its really disconcening to feel tightness in your chest or have trouble walking around after sitting down too long, but ive been consulting my mom who was a nurse and has an ivy league degree

what this experience has made me realize is that arnold was a little bitch

-no abs
-no hamstrings
-no obliques
-no calves
-no groin

like most bodybuilders he was missing like 70% of the muscle groups

the bodybuilding meme i realize now is just ignore everything but shoulders biceps and quads

that gives you the appearance of a big frame but if you were put on a field with elite pro althetes you would be exposed as a fucking joke unless you train like an athlete and not a little bitch boy bodybuilder or powershitter

it fooled me for the longest time and there is something to be said for the action figure look

but if you want athletic performance you need to actually work on the muscle groups that dont just increase the size of your frame

if you want athletic performance work directly on athleticism. Hyperthrophy work is a waste of time for actual athletes
