Is getting the GED worth it? I dropped out of high school and stopped paying attention to school in the 7th grade completely. I also might have ADHD and have been diagnosed with autism. I want to move out and have a future with my girlfriend and never have to rely on my parents, but I hear the test is quite daunting.

I thought Americans stay in high school til 18? If it is the equivalent of 5 gcses I'd say no but if it's closer to A Levels then yes

Those are AP classes. AP classes are equivalent to A levels. You can go to an American college with just GCSEs

Go for it then if they're paid higher and you think you'll actually finish it otherwise it seems like a waste of time. Working shitty low end jobs is the worst
