now youtube is no fun, their crappy algorithm recommends me the same shit over and over again, i can't explore and find rare stuff, all the videos seem to have a lot of editing, picture quality, very professional and overacted just like tiktok's garbage, and that is because youtube only promotes partner channels

I think I am the final generation to remember the pre YouTube days. I remember in 2004 using Limewire to download music and videos. I remember it took several days to download one song and sometimes if you downloaded a music video it ended up being a porn clip in disguise.
