I prefer the night and sleep late
I think it' s because of this:

-the night is uniform, the day makes you realize the course of time, the light changes according to the position of the sun, the night is all the same, it is dark without variations
-the night is quiet with nothing to distract you from your thoughts
-it' s easier to escape from reality in the dark, you turn off the light and immerse yourself in your mind

everything I mentioned before is related to mind and peacefulness, the night is for sleeping and dreaming
