My school had a book fair every year and I remember going in one morning when I was around 11 and buying a Powerpuff Girls book. I watched the show on TV, I wasn't a massive fan but I still watched it like most other shows. When I went to pay the woman at the counter who was a teaching assistant at the school said "you know this is a girls book" and I nodded by head in agreement. I then walked out with my Powerful girls book which I couldn't enjoy, she had ruined the experience for me.
